Abstract：Innovative thinking is the indispensable requirement of the development of the times.With the properties of comfortable,aesthetic,ecological,environmental-friendly and low-carbon,bamboo architectures are future development direction of environmental architecture.Bamboo architecture cannot be separated from innovative thinking.The paper took the "green valley" in Bali Island,Indonesia,as a case to illustrate in detail the application of innovative thinking in bamboo architectural design,which was hoped to give references for the protection,inheritance and development of ethnicity traditional bamboo houses in Yunnan, China.
