Abstract:In order to study the correlation between spring bamboo shoot growth and the underground distribution depth of its spring shoots, the author investigated Ph. pubescens forests on mountains. The results showed that the underground distribution depths of bamboo shoot buds had a significant effect on the diameter of shoots, and the deeper the shoot buds distributed under the soil, the larger in diameter of shoots. The shoot buds distributed at 20 cm deep could the most easily produce more shoots and grow into culm, while those at 0-10 cm deep were not easy to produce many shoots. Therefore, it should explore the technology to induce the shoot buds distributed in deeper soil in the forest management, so as to achieve the production goals of more shoots and big shoots.
