Analysis of the Practice on Creating a “Bamboo Culture Plus Ecotourism” Brand by Fulfilling the “Two Mountains” Theory in Anji County, Zhejiang Province

Abstract:Anji county in Zhejiang province is the birthplace of the “two mountains” theory, ranking first in the “China's top ten bamboo towns”. Bamboo culture has a long and profound history in Anji. Based on the statistical data analysis of total value of out-put and total tourism revenue, The study of “Bamboo Culture Plus” eco-tourism in Anji was conducted, based on the practice of Anji bamboo industry and ecotourism in recent years. The investigation showed that bamboo culture could enhance the competitiveness of Anji eco-tourism, and eco-tourism could inject new vitality into the bamboo culture. Although “Bamboo Culture Plus” could promote rural revitalization, problems such as lack of systematic study in bamboo culture, not combining bamboo culture and eco-tourism closely, and insufficient development of industries still existed. To promote the deep integration of bamboo culture and eco-tourism, it is necessary to carry out the organized work for the excavation and collection of bamboo culture. It will be focused on the development of tourism enterprises and scenic spots featuring bamboo culture, the integration and development of the whole region, and the connection of the whole-special tourism with string points to realize the characteristic and quality of “Bamboo Culture Plus” eco-tourism in Anji.
