Abstract：The intensive and efficient bamboo forest management requires the applicable forestry machine in order to increase the productivity, save the cost and improve the efficiency. The portable material transport equipment in bamboo forest was researched and developed for solving the problem which took a great number of time and human resources to move the mulching materials during forest mulching. Its preliminary application showed a good result. The working efficiency increased more than 4 times of the traditional human, while the cost of human resources could be saved more than a half. The whole set of equipment is simple in structure, and the materials used to manufacture it are common. It is featured with easy operation and maintenance, energy saving, environmental friend and security. The promotion and application of the equipment could bring more benefits for forest farmers, and have a bright prospect of application.
