Discussions on Terminology of Bamboo Materials and Their Standardization

Abstract：This paper summarizes the problems found in the use of terms for bamboo materials, and elaborated the connotations of terms for commonly used bamboo processing units and related products based on the actual bamboo processing situation as well as the necessity of product term standardization. Some suggestions were put forward on the definition of terms for future bamboo processing products as well as for the standardization work in order to facilitate information exchange in bamboo industry and also provide references on formulating national and international standards for bamboo processing products.
