Abstract:The in vitro plantlets of Bambusa multiplex were selected as test materials to study the effects of the basic media, plant growth regulators and the inoculation methods on the plantlet proliferation culture. The results indicated that the suitable medium formula for the plantlet proliferation culture was MS + 6-BA 2. 0 mg/L + 0. 4 mg/L NAA + activated carbon 1 g/L. The treatment of burying internodes into medium could increase the proliferation coefficient of the bamboo plantlets. Meanwhile, the removal of plantlet top could contribute to the enlargement of the nodes at lower parts, and thus induce the formation of adventitious roots, which could also lead to the improvement of proliferation coefficient.
