Abstract:The distribution of above-ground biomass and the moisture content characteristics of Dendrocalamus hamiltonii, D. asper, and D. Brandishii were analyzed and studied. The results showed that the distribution of aboveground biomass presented certain variation even for the same bamboo species which grow on the forest of different age while the culm biomass is the highest in volume with lowest moisture content. Among the indicators for the above-ground biomass, culm weight, culm height and culm DBH had significant effect on above-ground biomass.
