Abstract:This paper reviewed and analyzed in detail the literature relevant to development history the related literature about developing history, current production technology and product quality of high-performance reconstituted bamboo lumber. Based on the analysis of the main problems found in the current development process of reconstituted bamboo lumber industry, improvement actions and suggestions were put forward, including defibering equipment research and improvement, improving the cold-pressing and hot-pressing production automation, developing low-cost and high-performance modified urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive and phenolic resin glue, formulating the operation method and technical regulations for product quality control, developing and researching a new type of reconstituted bamboo-wood lumber whose density will be 0.7-0.9 g/cm3 and strengthening market supervision.
