Abstract：This paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the bamboo industry development in Yibin City, Sichuan Province, and puts forward countermeasures to promote its high-quality development in combination with the five aspects of the rural revitalization strategy, i.e., industrial revitalization, talent revitalization, cultural revitalization, ecological revitalization and organizational revitalization. The paper believes that in recent years, Yibin City has made remarkable achievements in the development of bamboo industry, but are still challenged by some problems, more emphasis on government's leadership than on the role of bamboo farmers and the market, low level of industrial development, lack of independent innovation capability, and inadequate implementation of industrial planning. It is suggested that the bamboo industry development, which is oriented to rural revitalization, should focus on the following points, i.e., giving full play to the role of the market, paying attention to the integrated development of the primary, secondary and tertiary bamboo industries, introducing and cultivating high-quality talents, promoting the combination of bamboo culture and tourism, adhering to the ecological priority and coordinated ecological-economic development, and having the role of grass-roots organizations played to make related policies take effect.
