Abstract：In order to screen pesticides for effective control of Artona funeralis larvae, six plant-derived pesticides are selected for indoor toxicity determination and control effect analysis in bamboo forest. The results show that all the six plant-derived pesticides have a good lethal effect on the larvae of A. ferreta. The phytotoxicity of plant-derived pesticides with 1.2% nicotine-matrine and 1.5% matrine solution is stronger, and that of 0.4% osthole emulsifiable concentrate is weaker.The emulsion of 1.2% nicotine and matrine and the solution of 1.5% matrine have a stronger toxicity, and the emulsion of 0.4% basilin has a weaker toxicity among the tested pesticides. The LC50 of 4% rotenone cream, 1.2% nicotine-matrine solution, 0.4% basilin cream, 1% bitter capsin solution, blue green 1% matrine and 1.5% matrine solution for A. ferreta larvae are 0.826 mg/L, 0.596 mg/L, 1.016 mg/L, 0.962 mg/L, 0.811 mg/L and 0.612 mg/L, respectively.; After four days of the pesticide application in forest, the control effects of six plant-derived pesticides are more than 90%. The best field concentration of pesticides are 1.5% matrine solution and 1.2% nicotine and matrine emulsion diluted to 1500 times, blue green 1% matrine and 4% rotenone emulsifiable oil diluted to 1200 times, 0.4% serpentin emulsifiable oil and 1% bitter rattan solution diluted to 1000 times. All the tested plant-derived pesticides have a good control effect on the larvae of A. ferreta, which can be used for the control of the larvae in forest.
